Our journey began in 2014 when we met at the University of Tennessee. Both of us were freshmen at the time, celebrating a mutual friend’s birthday. What started as a simple conversation soon turned into late-night talks, food runs, and discovering just how much we had in common. From listening to Michael Jackson to realizing we both greatly value family, our bond grew closer.
However, just like any young love, we faced our fair share of challenges, and eventually, life took us in different directions. But in His perfect timing, God brought us back together, reminding us that His plans are always greater than our own (Jeremiah 29:11). Stronger, wiser, and with a deeper understanding of love and grace, we realized that some stories are meant to have a second chapter—one written by His hand.
On September 13, 2024, we made our commitment official at the courthouse in Knoxville, TN. We are filled with gratitude for the journey that has led us here. Ecclesiastes 4:12 tells us that "a cord of three strands is not easily broken," and we know that with God at the center of our marriage, we will continue to grow in faith and love.
Looking back, we can see God’s hand in every step of our story (Proverbs 16:9). What seemed like a chance meeting was truly part of His greater plan, shaping us for the love and life we would one day build together.
We can’t wait to celebrate our marriage on September 14, 2025, surrounded by the family and friends who have prayed for and supported us along the way.
